Tariah Hyland is a rising student

Tariah Hyland is a rising freshman political science & psychology double major at Howard University. She is a proud co-founder of the Delaware Black Student Coalition.

Tariah is a Wilmington-based activist, speaker, and leader focused on racial justice, youth engagement, education equity, and empowering black girls. She has not only been a part of leading change within her school district but for the entire state of Delaware. Leading many conversations, crafting legislation (HB 198), and overall organizing her peers to advocate and initiate change.
